New photos of Adrianne Palicki's Wonder Woman costume from the NBC reboot of the hit 1970s show have surfaced, and it is sure to be a point of controversy for new and old fans alike. If the show gets picked up as a series, fans will surely be torn on what to think about the new costume.
The new costume, pictured below, has several striking differences from the original. For one, the new Wonder Woman costume features blue pants instead of the blue and white starred leotard bottom of the original. This costume, overall, is actually a bit more conservative than the original, which is somewhat surprising for modern television.

Next come the boots. The new Wonder Woman boots are blue, which is a stark difference from the original red ones. The style of the boots is similar, as they both come to a point just under the knee, however the color difference makes for a much different overall look. The top of the costume is similar in color, however the eagle takes up less of the corset than the original. The wrist cuffs are also similar in color, they just have a more modern and sleek look to them. The original Wonder Woman costume is pictured below so you can see the differences for yourself.

My biggest complaint about the new costume is that it looks cheap. For a big NBC production you'd think the costume designers would have a little more to work with, but the new costume looks cheaper than some of the Wonder Woman Halloween costumes out there.

I wonder if this gets picked up as a series if the costume companies will put out this version of Wonder Woman.
