The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL was filled to the brim this past weekend with comic book and animation fans from around the country for MegaCon 2011. MegaCon is an annual event that brings together comic book fans and people in the comic book industry to spend an entire weekend dedicated to eating, sleeping, and breathing comics.
Two of the headliners for this year's event, Stan Lee and William Shatner, were on hand to sign autographs and to host special events for some of the MegaCon patrons. In addition to Lee and Shatner, many other television and comic book celebrities were at the event mingling with convention goers and signing autographs.
Along with the celebrities there were also thousands of people dressed in amazing costumes. There were many classic costumes roaming around the convention inluding Poison Ivy from Batman and Thor, but there were also some new costumes such as Baby Doll from the Sucker Punch movie. Many of the costumes were homemade and each of them had their own unique touches.
