This July, fans of the wildly popular Family Guy television series will be able to enjoy the exploits of their favorite Quahog citzens in a new way: comic book style. The first issue of the comic book is slated to hit shelves on July 27th and it will be published by Titan Comics. S.L. Gallant and Anthony Williams will draw the comic. Some of Gallant's previous work includes "G.I. Joe" and "Torchwood" and some of Williams' work includes "Batman".
The comic books will follow the Griffin family as well as other show favorites such as Cleveland Brown, Joe Swanson, and Glen Quagmire. Though the characters will be the same, the storylines will be new and even more outrageous than some of the TV storylines.
The creators have not released information on how many issues the series will run or any exact details on storylines. The Family Guy comic books will join the other ancillary Family Guy products such as their manga series and line of paperback books.
