Ben Grizzly

A creature of the Marvel funny pages, Ben Grizzly lumbered onto the scene in 1985 — right in the thick of the Bronze Age — as part of the gloriously absurd animal-pun universe of Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham. Created by Steve Skeates and Mark Armstrong, he's one of the colorful supporting players sharing that zany world with the likes of Peter Porker, Bunsen Bunny, and The Thang. With only a handful of appearances across the series' brief 1985–1987 run, Ben Grizzly is a delightful deep-cut curio for collectors who love their Marvel history served with a side of inspired silliness.
