Bruno Bronto

Straight out of the prehistoric suburbs of the Bronze Age, Bruno Bronto made his comic debut in 1973 courtesy of Charlton's Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm — a series that brought Bedrock's most beloved youngsters to the funny pages in their own right. Bruno carved out a cozy corner of that Stone Age world across 11 appearances, sharing adventures with the likes of Pebbles Flintstone, Bamm-Bamm Rubble, and a colorful crew including Moonrock Crater, Fabian Fabquartz, and Zonk. It's a charming, lighthearted slice of early-'70s all-ages comics that Hanna-Barbera fans and Charlton collectors alike have a soft spot for — and Bruno is exactly the kind of supporting character who gives that world its warmth and texture.
