Bullet the Gun Boy
Charlton Comics had a knack for crafting colorful supporting players, and Bullet the Gun Boy is a prime example — a Silver Age creation who first rode onto the scene in Gunmaster #2 in 1964, brought to life by the prolific Joe Gill and artist Bill Fraccio. Keeping company with the likes of The Gunmaster and Clay Boone, Bullet carved out his niche in Charlton's Western corner of the comics universe, a world away from the capes-and-cowls crowd dominating the era. It's a modest catalog footprint, but the fact that his appearances stretch all the way to 2017 — including a second life through Gwandanaland Comics — means this Gun Boy has proven surprisingly hard to keep down, a genuine curiosity for Charlton devotees and Silver Age hunters alike.
