Straight out of the Golden Age of Belgian comics, Confetti made their debut in the very first issue of Les Aventures de Chick Bill in 1954, part of the charming world crafted by creator Tibet for Le Lombard. This early-fifties series brought together a lively cast — including Chick Bill, Dog Bull, Kid Ordinn, and Petit Caniche — and Confetti found a place among them in what was clearly a spirited corner of the Franco-Belgian comics tradition. With only a handful of catalog appearances across a brief 1954–1956 window, Confetti is a rare and fleeting presence, the kind of character that makes digging through vintage Lombard titles such a rewarding treasure hunt for dedicated collectors.
