El Mestizo

Born in the pages of Battle Picture Weekly and Valiant in 1977, El Mestizo is a Bronze Age creation from IPC's celebrated stable of British war and adventure comics, brought to life by the formidable creative pairing of writer Alan Hebden and artist Carlos Ezquerra — the same Ezquerra whose dynamic linework helped define an era of British comics. Sharing those action-packed pages with the likes of Johnny 'Red' Redburn, Joe Two Beans, and the colourfully named Kabul "the Turk" Hasan, El Mestizo kept genuinely vivid company.
