Ellen Drake

Silver Age comics had a way of introducing characters who quietly anchor the world around them, and Ellen Drake is one such figure — debuting in 1962's Serie Steve Drake #1, brought to life by José García Pizarro for Dutch publisher Nooit Gedacht. With only a handful of catalog appearances, all within the Serie Steve Drake series, she's a compact but genuine piece of early-'60s European comics history, sharing her pages with the series' namesake, Steve Drake.
