Farfar
Farfar stepped onto the page in 1980, born from the creative collaboration of Giorgio Pezzin, I. Emond, and Luciano Gatto in the pages of Joakim (Farbror Joakim) — a Bronze Age debut in a Scandinavian comics tradition that brought beloved characters to eager readers through Hemmets Journal. With a modest but charming catalog presence across Joakim (Farbror Joakim) and Kalle Ankas pocket, this character shares their adventures alongside some wonderfully familiar company — Farbror Joakim, Kalle Anka, and the irrepressible trio of Knatte, Fnatte, and Tjatte. A rarity with just six recorded appearances, Farfar is exactly the kind of quietly intriguing find that makes digging through Scandinavian comics such a rewarding adventure for the dedicated collector.
