Izzy Ruebens

Izzy Ruebens stepped onto the page in 1985, born from Jaime's pen in the landmark Love and Rockets — Fantagraphics' celebrated alternative comics series that helped define what the medium could be in the Bronze Age and beyond. Over nearly two decades, Izzy moves through a world populated by some of Jaime's most beloved creations: Maggie Chascarillo, Hopey Glass, Penny Century, Terry Downe, and Daffy Matsumoto, making her part of one of the richest, most human ensembles in independent comics history.
