Who is Lord Zedd?

Lord Zedd made his comics debut in 1994's Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1 from Hamilton Comics, brought to the page by creators Don Markstein and Gray Morrow at the height of the Power Rangers phenomenon. This Modern Age villain carved out his menacing place across a twenty-year span of licensed comics, haunting the pages alongside the Pink Ranger, Billy Cranston, and the rest of the color-coded team. His appearances span the Hamilton Comics run — including the Ninja Rangers / VR Troopers crossover title — making him one of the more persistent antagonistic presences in that early-'90s comics universe. A must for collectors chasing the full Hamilton Comics Power Rangers library, Lord Zedd is a vivid reminder of just how deep that franchise's four-color footprint really ran.
