Fresh out of the Modern Age indie scene, Swivel made their entrance in Skull Maskerade #3 (2022), brought to life by the creative duo of Justin Tauch and Carla Wyzgala Tauch for Carla Wyzgala's independent imprint. It's a title brimming with distinctive, evocatively named characters — Ravenna Quill, Nouria Strix, Corvissa Swin, and others who suggest a richly imagined world worth diving into. Still early in their comics life with just a handful of appearances, Swivel is exactly the kind of emerging figure that makes indie comics hunting so rewarding — a character whose story is still being written and whose potential is wide open.
