Few characters arrive in comics already carrying decades of cult devotion, but Tom Servo does exactly that — the beloved wisecracking automaton from Mystery Science Theater 3000 made his Dark Horse comics debut in 2018's Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Comic #1, brought to the page by a creative team that included series creator Joel Hodgson alongside Harold Buchholz, Todd Nauck, and Mike Manley. A Modern Age arrival in print, Servo keeps gloriously absurd company with fellow MST3K icons Crow T. Robot, Jonah Heston, and Gypsy, as well as the villainous Kinga Forrester. With only a handful of catalog appearances across a short but spirited 2018–2019 run, this is a tight, affectionate collection for the devoted MSTie who wants their favorite gumball-machine philosopher immortalized in ink and color.
