Aspen MLT
Aspen MLT, the corporate entity behind Aspen Comics, was founded in 2003 by artist Michael Turner in California. The company, with offices in Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey, is best known for producing comic books and collectible figurines. Aspen MLT itself is credited as a colorist on 36 issues between 2010 and 2025, with its most frequent work appearing on *Brightest Day*, *Convergence*, the *Brightest Day Omnibus*, the *Ultimate X-Men Omnibus*, and *Wonder Woman*. The company’s legacy is tied to Turner’s dynamic, anime-influenced style and his co-creation of popular characters like Fathom and Soulfire. After Turner’s passing in 2008, Aspen continued under his collaborators, maintaining a focus on original properties and licensed projects. While the company has not received major individual awards, its contributions to the industry are recognized through its sustained output and the enduring popularity of its core titles. Aspen MLT remains a boutique publisher known for high-quality art and storytelling, with a dedicated fan base.
