Brandon Jerwa is an American comic book writer and musician, best known for his work on licensed comic tie-ins. He is based in Seattle, Washington. Jerwa’s most prominent credits include series for *Battlestar Galactica*, *Highlander*, *G.I. Joe*, and *Army of Darkness*. He frequently collaborated with writer Eric S. Trautmann. Jerwa entered comics after a stint as a morning DJ at KRQT "Rocket 107" FM in Longview, Washington. His comic career ran from 2003 to 2015, during which he wrote over 60 issues, with his most credited titles being *G.I. Joe*, *Vampirella*, *The Mighty Crusaders*, *Red Sonja*, and *Battlestar Galactica Zarek*. Outside of comics, Jerwa is the lead singer and founder of the Seattle band SD6, and previously co-founded the bands Omnibox and Relay. He also provided lead vocals on the electronic band Last Survivor’s cover of the Faith No More song “Ashes to Ashes.” Jerwa’s work remains known for its steady handling of established franchises.
