Cory Walker
1980–
Cory Walker (born 1980) is an American comic book artist best known for co-creating the Image Comics superhero series *Invincible* alongside writer Robert Kirkman. His clean, expressive linework and dynamic storytelling defined the book's early visual identity. Walker also contributed character designs for Marvel Comics, including *Destroyer* and *The Irredeemable Ant-Man*, and for DC Comics’ *Shadowpact*. His credited work spans 44 issues from 2003 to 2026, with his most frequent titles including *Invincible*, *Destroyer*, *Superpatriot: America's Fighting Force*, *Marvel Team-Up*, and *Science Dog Special*. Walker’s path into comics began with independent work before collaborating with Kirkman on *Invincible*, which became a flagship series for Image and later an acclaimed animated adaptation. He has not received major industry awards, but his foundational role in building one of the most enduring superhero comics of the 2000s remains his lasting legacy.
