E. J. Su
E. J. Su is an American comic book artist and penciller, born in Taiwan and relocating to the United States at age 14. He is best known for his work on IDW Publishing's *Transformers* (2005) series, where his clean, dynamic linework helped define the modern look of the franchise. Su also illustrated *Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy*, bringing gothic horror to life with detailed, atmospheric panels.
His career began at Image Comics, where he collaborated with writer Robert Kirkman on the six-issue limited series *Tech Jacket* (2002). In 2025, Su joined the series *Blood & Thunder*, working alongside artist msassyk and writer Benito Cereno, in partnership with Kirkman. Across his career, Su has been credited as artist, colorist, or inker on over 70 issues, with notable credits including *Voltron: Defender of the Universe*, *The Transformers: The IDW Collection*, *The Transformers: Escalation*, and *The Transformers: Infiltration*.
