Eric Talbot

Eric Talbot is an American comic book writer and artist best known for his contributions to the *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* universe. Born in the United States, he entered comics through a long-time friendship with Kevin Eastman, who hired him to work on the TMNT series at Mirage Studios. Talbot's career in comics spans from 1988 to 2020, during which he served as artist, colorist, inker, and writer on 43 issues. His most frequent credits include *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Color Classics Vol. 3*, and *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures*.

Beyond the Turtles, Talbot co-created the graphic novel *The Melting Pot* with Eastman and Simon Bisley, a work later adapted as the basis for the animated film *Heavy Metal 2000*. His style, marked by dynamic linework and a gritty edge, made him a natural fit for the darker tones of early Mirage-era TMNT. In addition to comics, Talbot works as a professional tattoo artist at Oxbow Tattoo in Easthampton, Massachusetts, a career that has influenced his visual storytelling.
