Franco Aureliani
Franco Aureliani is an American comic book writer and artist, best known for his award-winning work on all-ages comics. Born in the United States, he has been active in the industry from 1995 through 2023, with credits as writer, artist, and inker on over thirty issues. Aureliani is most famous for co-creating the DC Comics series *Tiny Titans* with his longtime friend and collaborator Art Baltazar. That series earned the duo two Eisner Awards, in 2009 and 2011, and also won a Harvey Award in 2011. They received a third Eisner in 2014 for the Dark Horse Comics children's series *Itty Bitty Hellboy*. Aureliani was also nominated for a Harvey Award in 2013 for *Superman Family Adventures*, another DC project with Baltazar. His other notable credits include *The Green Team: Teen Trillionaires*, *Flesh & Blood*, and *Peach and the Isle of Monsters*. In addition to his comics work, Aureliani teaches art at Carmel High School, sharing his craft with a new generation. His legacy is defined by a playful, accessible style that has brought younger readers into comics, earning him a lasting place in the field of children’s graphic literature.
