Geoff Senior
Geoff Senior, born in 1960, is a British comic artist who made his strongest mark during the 1980s, primarily through his work for Marvel UK. He is best known for his dynamic, detailed artwork on *The Transformers* series, where his energetic linework and clear storytelling helped define the look of the robots in disguise for a generation of readers. Senior’s career began in the early 1980s, and he quickly became a key figure in Marvel UK’s output, contributing to titles such as *Hell's Angel*, *Starblazer*, *G.I. Joe European Missions*, *Battletide*, and *Action Force Monthly*. His style—marked by a strong sense of movement and a knack for rendering mechanical forms—made him a natural fit for these action-oriented series. He often collaborated with writers like Simon Furman, particularly on *The Transformers*, where their partnership produced some of the most memorable storylines of the era. Beyond his most famous work, Senior's credits as artist, inker, colorist, and writer span over 70 issues between 1982 and 2025. While he never sought the spotlight, his contributions to British comics and the early days of licensed comic adaptations have earned him a lasting place among fans of the medium.
