Glen Murakami
Glen Murakami is a Japanese-American animator, artist, and producer best known for his bold, stylized character designs on *Teen Titans*, *Batman Beyond*, and *Ben 10: Alien Force*. Born in the United States, he first made his mark in the 1990s as a colorist and artist on DC’s *The Batman Adventures* and *Batman: Mad Love and Other Stories*, bringing a clean, expressive energy to the animated-style comics. He later created and produced the Cartoon Network series *Teen Titans*, blending manga-inspired aesthetics with superhero action. His signature style—angular lines, vivid palettes, and dynamic poses—defined the look of *The Batman*, *Beware the Batman*, and *Teen Titans Go!*, as well as the *Ben 10* sequels. Murakami frequently collaborated with writer Paul Dini and producer Bruce Timm, contributing to the *Batman* animated universe’s visual language. While he has not received major industry awards, his work is credited with revitalizing superhero animation for a new generation. He remains active in the field, with credits as recent as 2024’s *Batman Day Collector: Mad Love*.
