Jerry Prosser
Jerry Prosser is an American comic book writer and editor, closely associated with Dark Horse Comics from its formative years. He was one of five creators who, as part of Team CGW, developed the Comics' Greatest World line for the publisher. Prosser also penciled part of *Godzilla* No. 5 in December 1988, one of Dark Horse's earliest licensed titles. He later moved into editorial work, overseeing Frank Miller's *Sin City: A Dame to Kill For* and various *Aliens* and *Predator* comics. Beyond Dark Horse, Prosser wrote the final ten issues (#80–89) of DC/Vertigo's *Animal Man*, a series launched by Grant Morrison, and penned comics set in the *Magic: The Gathering* universe for Armada/Acclaim Comics. His other notable credits include *Skin Graft: The Adventures of a Tattooed Man*, *The Crow: Wild Justice*, *Magic: The Gathering Antiquities War*, *Bram Stoker's Burial of the Rats*, and *Hard Looks*. Active from 1988 to 1996, Prosser is credited as writer on 46 issues. His career reflects the expansion of creator-owned and licensed storytelling in the 1990s independent comics scene.
