Jon Haward was a British comic artist best known for his work on *Judge Dredd*, *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, and *Sinister Dexter*. Born in Norwich, UK, in 1965, he passed away on 30 April 2024. Haward entered the industry in the early 1990s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile illustrator for both licensed properties and original series. His style balanced dynamic action with clear storytelling, making him a reliable presence in British comics.

He contributed extensively to *2000 AD* and Marvel UK’s *Spectacular Spider-Man Adventures*, often collaborating with writers like John Wagner and Alan Grant. Haward also illustrated *Biker Mice from Mars* and the graphic novel adaptation *Macbeth: The Original Text Version*. Among his co-creations was the series *Starkid*, which he drew for *2000 AD*. Later in his career, he worked on children’s titles such as *Spider-Man Kidz* and provided coloring and inking for various projects.

Though never a household name, Haward was a respected craftsman whose work spanned nearly two decades, from 1993 to 2010. His legacy lies in his steady, professional contributions to some of Britain’s most enduring comic franchises.
