Kevin Panetta

Kevin Panetta is an American comic book writer, best known for creating the series *Zodiac Starforce* with artist Paulina Ganucheau, published by Dark Horse Comics. The book earned attention for its ensemble of strong, diverse female leads. Born in the United States, Panetta found his footing in comics writing for licensed properties such as *Steven Universe*, *Regular Show*, and *Bravest Warriors* before launching his own creator-owned work. His graphic novel *Bloom*, illustrated by Ganucheau’s sister Savannah (who lives in Australia), was named one of *Kirkus Reviews* Best Books of the Year in 2019. Panetta has also written for *Archie*, *Magic Bullet*, and *WWE SmackDown*. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and dog.
