Meredith Gran

Meredith Gran (born 1984) is best known as the creator of the long-running webcomic *Octopus Pie*, a slice-of-life series following two twentysomething women in Brooklyn that ran from 2007 to 2017, with later epilogues. She wrote and drew the strip, with colors by Valerie Halla and Sloane Leong, and its 1,026 installments earned notice from the *New York Daily News*. Gran entered comics through the web, building a dedicated readership before expanding into print and licensed work. Her style blends clean, expressive linework with a keen eye for character-driven humor and urban ennui. She has collaborated with publishers on titles such as *Adventure Time: Marceline and the Scream Queens*, *Gravity Falls: Lost Legends*, and *Doodle Jump Comics*, and contributed to the anthology *Unshelved*.
