Mort Todd
Michael Jon DelleFemine, who worked professionally as Mort Todd, was born on November 9, 1961, and died on August 24, 2025. He is best remembered as the editor-in-chief of *Cracked* magazine and later of Marvel Music, and as the owner of Comicfix, a media company that developed licensed properties. Todd entered the comics industry in 1982 and over four decades worked as a writer, artist, colorist, inker, and letterer for several publishers. His career included work on major characters like Superman and Spider-Man, as well as licensed titles such as *Barbie* and *Looney Tunes*. His most credited works include *The Charlton Arrow*, *Gargoyles*, *Cracked*, *Big Bang Presents*, *Kiss Classics*, and *Cracked Collectors' Edition*. Outside of comics, his illustrations appeared on CD covers, magazines, newspapers, and print advertisements. Todd’s legacy is that of a versatile craftsman who moved easily between humor magazines, superhero universes, and licensed properties, leaving a substantial body of work across the industry.
