Paolo Rivera

Paolo Manuel Rivera was born in 1981 and is an American comic book artist best known for his work on the *Mythos* series of one-shots and multiple issues of *Spider-Man*. He gained early acclaim for his fully painted illustrations, but later shifted to a more traditional approach, handling penciling, inking, and coloring himself, with occasional sculpting. His most celebrated collaboration came with writer Mark Waid, his father and inker Joe Rivera, and colorist Javier Rodríguez on *Daredevil*, a run that revitalized the character. Rivera also contributed to *The Valiant*, *Howard the Duck*, and *Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1953 - Beyond the Fences*.
