Rick Marschall
Rick Marschall was born on February 3, 1949, in the United States. He is an American writer, editor, and comic strip historian, widely recognized as a leading authority on pop culture. Marschall’s career in comics began in the late 1970s, and he has worked as an editor for both Marvel and Disney comics, as well as for several syndicates. He is best known for his editorial work on *Nemo: The Classic Comics Library*, a magazine that revived and celebrated vintage comic strips, and for contributing to *Marvel Super Special*. Marschall also wrote and compiled *Just What the Doctor Disordered: Early Writings & Cartoons of Dr. Seuss*, showcasing his deep interest in comic history. His other notable credits include *Hagbard Handfaste* and *Will Gould's Red Barry*, and he has written for the Swedish *Kalle Anka & C:o*. Marschall’s signature style blends scholarly rigor with a fan’s enthusiasm, and he has collaborated with many key figures in the field.
