Sonny Strait is an American voice actor, ADR director, and illustrator, best known for his long-running voice work in English dubs of Japanese anime and for his contributions as an artist and writer on the independent comic series *ElfQuest*. Born in the United States, he has been active in comics from 2002 through 2020, with credits as artist, colorist, inker, and writer on 26 issues. His most-credited titles include *ElfQuest: The Final Quest*, *ElfQuest: Stargazer's Hunt*, and the *ElfQuest Reader's Collection*.

Strait’s path into comics was intertwined with his voice acting career. He is widely recognized for providing the English voices of Krillin and Bardock in Funimation’s adaptations of *Dragon Ball*, *Dragon Ball Z*, *Dragon Ball GT*, *Dragon Ball Super*, and related media since 1999. He also voices Usopp in the English adaptation of *One Piece* and the titular character in *Lupin the Third*. His work as an illustrator for *ElfQuest* placed him among the key collaborators on that long-running independent fantasy series.

Strait’s later life remains active in both voice acting and comics. He has not received major industry awards, but his dual career has made him a familiar figure to fans of both anime and independent comics, with his *ElfQuest* work standing as a significant contribution to one of the medium’s most enduring creator-owned properties.
