Steve Sadowski
Steve Sadowski (born 1967, in British Columbia) is a Canadian comic book artist best known for his pencil work on the 1999 revival of *JSA*, the Justice Society of America series written by James Robinson and David S. Goyer. His clean, dynamic linework and strong sense of composition made him a natural fit for superhero titles, and he later contributed to *Avengers/Invaders*, *Red Sonja*, and *Warlord of Mars* for Dynamite Entertainment. For DC's Vertigo imprint, he worked on *Fairest* and the video game adaptation *Fables: The Wolf Among Us*. Sadowski is openly gay, though his personal life has remained largely private. He was active in the industry from 2002 to 2018, with his most credited work appearing across 36 issues, including multiple runs on *Avengers* and the *Fables* universe. While he did not receive major industry awards, his contributions to the *JSA* revival helped cement the series as a fan-favorite modern take on the classic team. Sadowski’s career reflects a steady, reliable presence in mainstream and licensed comics, with a particular strength in capturing heroic action and character-driven storytelling.
