Steven Seagle
Steven T. Seagle was born in 1965 in the United States. He is best known for the graphic novel memoir *It's a Bird...* (Vertigo, 2004) and as a co-founder of the Man of Action Studios collective, which created the animated series *Ben 10*. Seagle entered comics in the mid-1990s, writing for DC and Marvel. His signature work includes runs on *Primal Force*, *House of Secrets*, and *Alpha Flight*, often collaborating with artists like Duncan Rouleau and Joe Casey. He co-created the *Warblade: Endangered Species* miniseries and the *Grifter* one-shot. Beyond comics, Seagle co-founded Speak Theater Arts and taught at Ball State University, Pasadena City College, and Mt. San Antonio College, where he coached the Forensics team to national championships. He has also written for television and film. Seagle’s legacy is marked by his introspective, character-driven storytelling and his role in shaping modern animation. He has received multiple Eisner Award nominations.
