Tim Fish
Tim Fish (born 1970) is a comic book creator and playwright best known for his long-running series *Cavalcade of Boys* and its related graphic novels. Working under a pen name, Fish emerged as a distinctive voice in queer comics during the early 2000s. He wrote, drew, and lettered his own stories, often balancing humor with heartfelt drama. His original graphic novel *Liebestrasse* earned critical notice, receiving nominations for both a Tripwire Award for Best Graphic Novel and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic Book. Fish also contributed short stories to various anthologies and created titles such as *Love Is the Reason*, *Strugglers*, and *Wowie Zowie!*. His most active period in comics spanned 2002 to 2008, during which he was credited as writer, artist, inker, and letterer on thirteen issues. Beyond comics, Fish has worked as a playwright, bringing his storytelling instincts to the stage. While his output has been focused rather than prolific, his work remains a touchstone for readers seeking authentic LGBTQ+ narratives in independent comics.
