Veronica Fish
1985–
Veronica Fish is an American comic book artist and painter, born in 1985, best known for her work at Marvel Comics and Archie Comics. She entered the industry in the mid-2010s, quickly establishing a distinctive, clean style with a flair for expressive character work and atmospheric color. Her most credited titles include *Sabrina the Teenage Witch*, *Archie*, *Blackwood* and its sequel *Blackwood: The Mourning After*, the roller-derby series *Slam!*, and *GLOW vs the Babyface*. Fish often collaborates with writer Mark Waid and colorist Andy Fish, and her art is noted for its blend of classic cartooning and modern graphic storytelling. She has contributed to key co-creations such as the horror-tinged *Blackwood* series, which she both illustrated and co-plotted. Later in her career, Fish has balanced mainstream superhero work with creator-owned projects, and her painterly approach has earned her a dedicated following. She has received no major awards to date, but her consistent output and versatile skill set—as artist, colorist, inker, and letterer across 46 issues from 2016 to 2026—cement her as a significant contemporary voice in American comics.
