Vincent Colletta (born Vincenzo Colletta, October 15, 1923 – June 3, 1991) was an American comic book artist best known as one of Jack Kirby's primary inkers during the Silver Age of comics. Born in New York City, he entered the industry in the 1940s, working on romance and crime titles before becoming a key collaborator with Kirby in the 1950s and 1960s. His most celebrated work came at Marvel Comics, where he inked Kirby's pencils on early issues of *Fantastic Four* and a long, acclaimed run on *Thor* in *Journey into Mystery* and *The Mighty Thor*. Colletta's polished, clean style helped define the look of Marvel's rising line. He later worked at DC Comics, inking *Wonder Woman* and *Captain America*, and contributed to *Thundercats* and *Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends*. He also served as an art director. Colletta's career was marked by his steady, professional hand, though his heavy use of white-out and simplification of Kirby's linework sometimes drew criticism. He died in 1991 at age 67.
