Wayne Nichols
Wayne Nichols (born 22 June 1978) is an Australian comic book artist whose clean, dynamic style has graced major American publishers. He is best known for illustrating *The Incredible Hulk* and *Exiles* for Marvel Comics, as well as licensed titles like *Orphan Black*, *The X-Files*, *Star Wars: The Force Unleashed*, and *Falling Skies*. Nichols’s career extends beyond comics into concept art, storyboarding, and commercial illustration for clients such as H&M, Apple Music, MTV, Coca-Cola, and the Royal Australian Air Force. In 2008, he co-created the four-issue series *Afterburn* for Red 5 Comics, handling character and environment designs and pencils; the series was later adapted into a feature film starring Dave Bautista and Samuel L. Jackson. Based in Brisbane, Australia, Nichols has remained active in the industry from 2008 through 2022, with credits on titles including *Bill & Ted Roll the Dice*, *Ryder on the Storm*, *Abattoir*, *FVZA: Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency*, *Highlander: The American Dream*, and *Star Wars Sonderband*.
