Yoann
Yoann Chivard, known professionally as Yoann, was born on 8 October 1971 in Alençon, Orne, France. He is best known as a comics artist and colorist, particularly for his work on the long-running *Spirou et Fantasio* series. In January 2009, it was announced that Yoann and writer Fabien Vehlmann would take over the main *Spirou et Fantasio* strip from the previous creative team of Morvan and Munuera. The duo had already collaborated on the first volume of *Une aventure de Spirou et Fantasio par…* before releasing their first album in the regular series in October 2009. Yoann's style is clean and dynamic, well-suited to the classic adventure-comedy tone of the franchise. He has also contributed to *Sprint*, *Super Groom*, and *Fennek*, often working as both artist and colorist. His catalog with the publisher spans 23 issues from 2006 to 2025. Yoann continues to be a key figure in modern Franco-Belgian comics, maintaining the legacy of one of its most cherished series.
