This document collection does not contain pulp magazine content. Rather, it comprises declassified U.S. Air Force communications and forms from October-November 1953 concerning an unidentified flying object report. The incident, dated October 11, 1953, involved a farmer near Waubun, Minnesota who observed two aerial phenomena: a large flat disk with a buzzing sound, featuring dangling feelers and a goose-neck attachment, which moved slowly westward for approximately five minutes; and a flat triangular object that traveled rapidly southward. The correspondence documents inter-agency routing of the report through the Ground Observer Corps, the Air Technical Intelligence Command, and the 4632nd Air Intelligence Service Squadron, with requests for interrogation of the witness regarding possible exaggeration of the observations. The materials are marked for declassification and represent official Project Blue Book documentation.
