Amazing Stories, October 1957

This document is not a pulp magazine. It is a U.S. Air Force UFO sighting report form dated October 1952, filed under the unclassified designation 20th ADCOC 13-313. The report documents an observation made near Hanaford, Kansas by civilian witnesses who sighted nine objects in formation traveling northward. The objects were described as oblong, reddish in color, silent, with no exhaust, approximately B-25 bomber size, with one positioned on top of two others and a third trailing behind. Sightings lasted approximately 30 minutes and were observed through binoculars and ground visual observation. Altitude estimates ranged from 15,000 to 80,000 feet. The report was submitted to multiple Air Force command centers including the 20th Air Division at Gebaur AFB, Missouri, and Air Defense Command headquarters.
