This issue features "The Millionth Chance," a complete novel by Arthur Somers Roche involving international intrigue at a Maine winter resort where an American becomes entangled with a patriotic American woman amid clashing interests of three world powers. Other fiction includes W.C. Tuttle's comic tale of sheepmen in cattle country; S.B.H. Hurst's "Taste of the Salt," a story set in Seattle and the Pacific; J.U. Giesy's "The Return," featuring a globe-trotting news dealer; and the third installment of "In the Grip of the Minotaur" by Farnham Bishop and Arthur Gilchrist Brodeur, a Norse adventure involving Prince Ragnarr's fleet battling Mediterranean powers to rescue his bride Ilia.
