This issue features one complete novel, "Soil has a Roof Law" by Eru Rex Parson (193 pages, chapters I–XIX); one two-part story, "Side-Tracked at Green Gap" Part I by Marie B. Schrader; and three serialized novels in progress: "The Girded Trap" Part II by George M. A. Cain, "Daring the Danger Zone" Part III by Norcross Forbes, and an untitled serial by Lawrence Perry. Seven short stories are also included, among them "Just-For" by Leigh Gordon Giltner and "Ladies Don't Countermand" by Raymond S. Spears. The issue contains extensive classified advertising for agents and salesmen, promoting various goods and business opportunities including mail-order courses through International Correspondence Schools. Advertisements preview the February issue, promising content on mystery, automobiles, detective work, and playwriting instruction.
