Merritt (first of eight parts), a detective piece titled Bing, Bang, Boom! by Raymond Leslie Goldman (second of five parts), How Many Cards? by Isabel Ostrander (third of seven parts), Beware of the Bride by Edgar Franklin (fourth of six parts), and Pride of Tyson by John Frederick (sixth of six parts). A novelette, The Derelict by Magda Leigh, rounds out longer fiction. Seven short stories are featured, including The Duke of Bildad by William Macleod Raine, The Chain of Circumstance by Katharine Metcalf Roof, J. Barleycorn, Inc. by Douglas Peck, Teach: Pirate De Luxe by C. J. Cutcliffe Hyne, XII—The Resetter, Tiny, the Terrible Turk by Samuel G. Camp, Ho Yat Sing Assisting by H. A. Hargrave, and Putting the "Safe" in Safety by Sam Hellman. Charles Alden Seltzer's western serial The Stray-Man debuts next week.
