The Blue Book Magazine, June 1916

Β· June 1916

June 1916 Blue Book Magazine contains seven stories and one serial installment. "Blood Will Tell" by Gilbert Parker opens the issue, featuring a Young Doctor who successfully operates on Flora's father, drawing the jealous ire of her boorish husband Cyrus Boon. The convergence of Cyrus's drinking, gambling losses, and his lawyer friend Burlingame's manipulations breeds suspicion. "Number 17" by Louis Tracy begins a six-part serial, while other stories include "The Pigtail of Hi-Wing-Ho" by Sax Rohmer, "A Hold-Up in the Sierra" (Tales of a Wayside Garage) by Edwin L. Sabin, and contributions from Forrest Crissey, Harris Merton Lyon, Ellis Parker Butler, and Charles Alden Seltzer. The serialized "Whom God Hath Joined" by Cyrus Townsend Brady continues at part five of six.
