"No olvidéis llevarme flores" by Lou Carrigan (1976) is a crime thriller serialized in Bolsilibros: Selección Terror. The narrative opens with amateur magician Leonard Cowan performing sleight-of-hand tricks for his cousin Connie, her husband Henry Barrow, and business partner Sidney Bittelman. After Bittelman departs for an evening flight to Mobile, the story reveals a conspiracy: Bittelman and the Barrows have plotted Leonard's murder to gain control of their shared company and claim a promised million dollars. As Leonard sleeps, Henry and Connie suffocate him with a pillow in his darkened bedroom. The plan involves disposing of the body in a swamp, weighted down, and abandoning Leonard's car in the city to suggest he disappeared voluntarily. The narrative concludes as Connie, traumatized after the killing, approaches the bedside in shock.
