Los Límites del Infierno by Clark Carrados (published Selección Terror series, 1979) is a crime-horror narrative featuring interconnected plots of seduction and murder. Lance Hardigan dines with a blonde woman named Ginny, later discovering her voracious eating habits; separately, Delmer Kinnan seduces a woman named Vicky Pebbs with promises to eliminate her husband for twenty-five thousand pounds. Kinnan breeds giant crabs in a coastal cave beneath his house and feeds them human remains—specifically Vicky's husband. When Vicky recognizes her husband's body part among the crab food, Kinnan murders her by throwing her into the crab pit. In Chapter II, Hardigan pursues a gambling debt owed by Sam Pebbs, only to discover both Pebbs and his wife have vanished for months. A young woman named Stella Hyderlin appears seeking Pebbs, catching Hardigan's attention.
