# Museum Catalog Note
This issue of Selección Terror (#364, February 1980) contains "Contrato con el Mundo del Horror" by Joseph Berna, a pulp crime-romance narrative. The story opens in Los Angeles with Samantha Bonner, an aspiring actress, leaving her lover Robin Stockwell—a private investigator—to attend a film director audition at 2312 Dukeland Street. Robin drives her there, and while they breakfast at a nearby café, Samantha enters the building to meet director Jerome Wilcox and his assistant Oliver Cobb. In the waiting area, she finds seven other attractive young women competing for a film role, all displaying themselves prominently to impress the casting director. The narrative emphasizes physical descriptions and suggestive situations common to pulp fiction of the era. The text breaks off mid-scene as additional actresses continue arriving.
