# Regresa a Tu Sepulcro by Ralph Barby

This horror novella follows two interconnected narratives. The opening chapters present Aurore's letter describing a terrifying experience in a forest where she encountered a mysterious octagonal stone tower hidden among trees. Led by a limping cat to the structure, she was seized by an inexplicable supernatural force that left her traumatized and found wandering delirious through the woods. Her letter to her friend Marie seeks help, suggesting psychological breakdown or worse.

The second narrative introduces Marie, who receives Aurore's letter and travels by train to the provincial town where her friend lives. On the journey, she meets the mysterious Albert Renoir, a young intellectual who assists her and reveals he is also traveling to the same destination. Upon arrival, Marie learns from a taxi driver that Aurore has died under strange circumstances. She arrives at the Maison des Arbres guesthouse—now nearly abandoned—where she is greeted by a sinister caretaker and a fierce dog named Satán.
