# "Besando a la Muerte" by Ada Coretti

This Spanish-language terror serial concerns a ghostly bride haunting the town of Middlentton. After Liza dies from arsenic poisoning on her wedding day to wealthy Telly Mussell—before she can reach the altar—a veiled bride in white begins appearing in fog near the cemetery, wielding a whip. She systematically attacks Telly's subsequent fiancées, scarring their faces with the whip as punishment. One man who investigates Liza's tomb is found decapitated, his severed head and feet arranged on her gravestone.

Detective Stephen Bribb arrives in Middlentton after being hired by Jeannine, a young woman who explains the situation. Liza had received poisoned candies before the wedding; her dying words accused someone of preventing her marriage. A modista named Marion Sidney came under suspicion, suspected of loving Telly since childhood, though investigation proved inconclusive. The narrative breaks off mid-explanation as Bribb begins his investigation into the haunting and the original murder.
