Yo, Drácula

"I, Dracula" by Silver Kane presents a vampire tale in three acts. In the first chapter, Kramer, a drunken warehouse worker, discovers two coffins and is attacked by a vampire emerging from one—a man in black who drains him of blood. Police arrive before the body can be hidden. Chapter Two follows two gravediggers hired to bury the coffins at night in exchange for ancient Byzantine gold coins. They recognize the coffins came from Romania via the murdered Kramer and scheme to rob them. When the coffins open simultaneously, revealing a pale man and a grotesque woman in black, the gravediggers are terrorized. The vampires flip the coffins onto the workers, burying them alive beneath rapidly shoveled earth. The female vampire, named Opal, laments missing a feeding opportunity, suggesting a larger conspiracy unfolds across the narrative.
