# Capitán

This Spanish-language serial adventure by P. V. Debrigode follows Ross Maloney, an American merchant ship captain operating in Shanghai. Maloney commands the Furia, formerly a pirate vessel of the now-deceased Yuan Kang. Known locally as "Capitán Pantera" for his red hair and combat prowess, Maloney navigates Shanghai's international port while evading both British colonial authorities and underworld entanglements. British officer Percival Brodwin interrogates him about his delayed departure and Yuan Kang's mysterious death. At an American barbershop, Maloney encounters a striking red-haired Chinese woman posing as a manicurist—revealed as Chiao Yun, Yuan Kang's daughter, who has inherited her father's power. She warns of coming tortures while reading his palm, hinting at revenge for past conflicts with her family's criminal empire.
